The main reason why a garden room is set up would be to provide a fun and spacious area where the family can bond and spend quality time with each other. Terraces are set up to cater to chairs where the family can lounge and relax on and a table where that family can gather and eat. An area is setup where the family can have a fun barbecue together and spend lazy weekends talking about past and present experiences that they can share with each other. Outdoor kitchens are an even setup.
For the fun of the children, there are two play structures. First is the structured play which would include the use of equipment. On the other hand, children’s’ interest change as time passes by so you should also take flexibility as a factor. The toddlers might enjoy a sandbox near your house where you can keep an eye on them from time to time. Later on as they grow, you can start incorporating slides, swings and the like
The second structure would be the unstructured play where environment is a big factor. Take for example tree climbing, taking a dip in the pond, observing wildlife and the like.
For the equipment to be used in the children’s play space, big play equipments can be incorporated. Take for example a jungle gym or monkey bars. However, if your area is not that big, you can put in a pergola or some kind of structure that would kind of be the same (image 1)
Bursts and splatters of happy colors are also significant in your family garden. You can incorporate this on the equipment or maybe on hard landscaping as well as through planting (image 2).
A den is also a significant in the play space of your garden. Here children can discover their creativity and put into action their imagination. It can be placed where it is visible from the house or it can be concealed on a corner.

For your plants, they must be highly adaptable and strong from the constant exposure the children’s rough play as well as that of the pets. Since they are planted within easy access, them must really be attractive and appealing (image 1)
